has admitted he is incredibly lonely during Sydney’s after his wife Jasmine and one-year-old daughter Harper May travelled to in August.
The Today show host appeared on Nova’s on Thursday to do a competitive round of the game Quick Draw, but spoke honestly about missing his wife, who jetted to the sunshine state to see her late grandmother before she sadly passed away.
‘She’s still in Queensland with little baby Harper,’ Karl, 47, explained. ‘She will be back in a couple of weeks, but every time I say, “When will you be coming back to Sydney?” she goes, “As soon as you get out of lockdown”.’

‘That’s what I’m waiting for, eagerly,’ he added.
The conversation then shifted to how the TV presenter was coping at home by himself.
‘It’s not easy. The first hour is the hardest, it’s like alcoholism,’ he joked. ‘By the way, I haven’t given up alcohol during lockdown.’
